I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of experience with adolescents, adults, and families struggling with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, cancer-related issues, behavioral problems, parenting, life transitions, and stress.
I focus on past and present relationships as a starting point for therapy. As those relationships may be with family, friends, work or even oneself, I approach each person as a unique individual and customize the therapeutic approach for that person. Just as each person is different, so is the path that each individual may take. I see therapy as a collaboration where the client and I work together to uncover the source of current struggles and discover ways to improve the quality of life and attain desired goals.
I originally established my private practice in the San Fernando Valley working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of situations. I worked extensively with adolescents as a therapist in local high schools as well as in private practice. My previous work at weSPARK Cancer Support Center in Sherman Oaks provided me an opportunity to help enhance the lives of those struggling with cancer as well as their friends and families.
